From the main town area in Mid West, head southeast on the Great Northern Highway (National Route 1) towards the town of Hartley. Continue on the highway for approximately 170 kilometers until you reach the exit for Hartley. Take the exit onto the Old Great Western Highway (B55) and continue for about 6 kilometers. The Hartley Historic Site will be on your left at 51 Old Great Western Hwy, Hartley NSW 2790. There is no entry fee for visiting the site.
