If you are driving from Mornington, head east on Main Street towards Nepean Highway (A3). Turn left onto Nepean Highway and continue for about 8 km. Take the exit towards Point Leo Road and follow it until you reach Shoreham Road. Turn right onto Shoreham Road, and after approximately 1.5 km, you will find the entrance to the Red Hill Rail Trail at 155 Shoreham Rd, Red Hill South VIC 3937. There is free parking available at the trailhead.
Public Transport
To reach Red Hill Rail Trail using public transport, start by taking a bus from Mornington to the town of Red Hill. You can catch the Route 788 bus from Mornington Station and get off at the Red Hill stop. From there, it is a 1.5 km walk along Shoreham Road to reach the trail entrance at 155 Shoreham Rd. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time as service frequency may vary.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, you can ride from Mornington to Red Hill Rail Trail. Follow the cycling paths along Main Street and Nepean Highway, and then take Point Leo Road towards Shoreham Road.
