Car
If you are driving, start from the main visitor area in Mount Field National Park. Head south on Lake Dobson Road for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the Florentine Peak trailhead, which is located on the left-hand side. There is a small parking area where you can leave your car. Note: A National Parks pass is required to enter Mount Field National Park, which costs around AUD 40 for a 24-hour vehicle pass.

To reach Florentine Peak using public transportation, take a bus from Hobart to the town of New Norfolk. From New Norfolk, you will need to catch a connecting bus to Mount Field National Park.
