Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards New England National Park. From Armidale, take the Waterfall Way (B78) heading east. Continue on B78 for approximately 35 km until you reach the turnoff for New England National Park. Follow the signs to Brinerville. Once you arrive in Brinerville, look for GC24+R7, where the Lyrebird walking track starts. There is no entry fee to the park, but parking may be available at designated areas.

If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Armidale to Bellingen. Once you arrive in Bellingen, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach New England National Park, as public transport options are limited. The distance from Bellingen to the park is about 30 km. Confirm taxi availability ahead of time to ensure you can reach your destination.
