If you're traveling by car from New England, start by heading towards the Hume Highway (M31). Follow the M31 southbound until you reach the junction for the Western Highway (A300). Take the exit onto A300 towards Ballarat. Continue on the Western Highway for approximately 90 minutes. Once you approach Ballarat, follow signs to the city center. As you enter Ballarat, take the exit for Stawell Street South. Continue on Stawell Street South for about 1 km, and the Eureka Centre will be on your left at 102 Stawell St S, Ballarat Central VIC 3350. Parking is available nearby but may incur fees depending on the area.
Public Transportation
To reach the Eureka Centre via public transportation, start by finding a local bus service that connects to train stations in New England. Board a train towards Melbourne, and disembark at Ballarat Station. This journey typically takes around 2 hours, and ticket prices vary based on your starting point, usually around AUD 20-30. Upon arrival at Ballarat Station, you can either walk (approximately 20 minutes) or catch a local bus towards the city center. If walking, head south on Lydiard Street towards Sturt Street, then turn left onto Sturt Street and continue until you reach Stawell Street South. Turn right onto Stawell Street South, and the Eureka Centre will be on your left.
