Walking
If you are in Noosa Heads, start by heading south on Hastings Street towards Noosa River. At the river, turn left onto Gympie Terrace. Continue walking along the river until you reach the junction with Thomas Street. Turn right onto Thomas Street and follow it until you reach Moorindil Street. Turn left onto Moorindil Street and continue until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Tewantin Road, and after approximately 1 km, you will reach Lake Doonella, which is on your right.

Bus
From Noosa Junction, catch the Sunbus route towards Tewantin. Board the bus at the stop on Poinciana Avenue. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop on Tewantin Road near the roundabout. From there, walk approximately 500 meters along Tewantin Road towards the lake, which will be on your right.

If you have rented a bicycle, start from Noosa Heads and cycle along the Noosa River. Follow the bike paths along Gympie Terrace, and when you reach the roundabout, continue straight onto Tewantin Road. After about 2 km, you will see Lake Doonella on your right. There are bike racks available near the lake for parking your bicycle.
