Getting There

• Bus

  From Noosa Junction, catch the Noosa North Shore bus (Route 630) towards Noosa North Shore. The bus will take you along Noosa Drive and provide scenic views of the area. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the stop at the Noosa North Shore Campground. From here, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to reach the Kinaba Information Centre at Lake Cootharaba. Follow the signs towards the lake, which will guide you through the beautiful bushland.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Noosa. Start your journey from Hastings Street, cycling along the Noosa River foreshore. Head towards the Noosa National Park entrance and follow the dirt trails leading to the Noosa North Shore. Once you reach the ferry terminal at Tewantin, cross the river on the ferry. After disembarking, continue biking on the dirt tracks through the Noosa North Shore until you arrive at Kinaba Information Centre, which is located by Lake Cootharaba.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk, start from Noosa Heads and make your way to Noosa National Park. Enter the park and follow the coastal walk for stunning views of the ocean. From the park, head towards the Noosa North Shore via the Tewantin ferry. After crossing, walk along the trails leading through the bushland towards Lake Cootharaba. It is a long walk, approximately 12 kilometers from Noosa Heads, so ensure you are prepared with water and appropriate footwear.
