If you're traveling by car, head towards Purnululu National Park from the nearest major town, Kununurra, which is approximately 300 kilometers away. From Kununurra, take the Great Northern Highway (National Route 1) south. Then, turn onto the Purnululu National Park Road (also known as Bungle Bungle Road). This road is unsealed and may require a 4WD vehicle, especially during the wet season. Follow the signs for Purnululu National Park, and after about 53 kilometers, you will reach the park entrance. Note that there is an entrance fee for vehicles, which is approximately AUD 13 per person for a two-day pass. Once inside the park, follow the signs to Echidna Chasm, which is about a 30-minute drive along the park's internal roads.
