Getting There

Car
If you are driving, start by heading to the town of Bicheno, which is approximately 30 minutes from either St Helens or Swansea. From Bicheno, take the A3 highway south towards Freycinet National Park. Continue on the A3 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the park entrance. Once inside the park, follow the signs to Wineglass Bay Lookout. The final stretch requires you to park at the designated parking area and then hike approximately 1.5 kilometers uphill along the marked trail to the lookout.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Hobart to Bicheno. You may need to check the schedule as services may not be frequent. Once in Bicheno, you will need to hire a taxi or a shuttle service to get to the Freycinet National Park entrance. After entering the park, follow the same trail as drivers to the Wineglass Bay Lookout. Be prepared for a short hike of about 1.5 kilometers uphill.

For those who prefer not to drive, taxis and shuttle services can be arranged from nearby towns like Bicheno or Swansea directly to the Freycinet National Park entrance. After entering, you will still need to hike the 1.5 kilometers to the lookout.
