Walking
From the center of Port Douglas, head to Macrossan Street, which is the main street in town. Walk northeast until you reach the end of the street, where it intersects with Wharf Street. Continue straight onto Wharf Street, which will lead you to the marina and the beach area. At the marina, look for signs indicating the bus station. Here, you can catch the shuttle bus heading towards Cape Tribulation. Ensure you board the correct bus and confirm with the driver that it stops at Cape Tribulation Resort.

Shuttle Bus
Once on the shuttle bus, enjoy the scenic ride along the Captain Cook Highway. The bus will make several stops along the way, so relax and take in the views. After approximately 1.5 hours, the bus will arrive at Cape Tribulation Resort. Get off the bus once you reach the resort. From here, you will have a short walk to Coconut Beach.

After disembarking at Cape Tribulation Resort, head towards the beach access point near the resort. Follow the signs leading to Coconut Beach. It is a leisurely walk of approximately 5-10 minutes through the lush tropical environment. You'll reach the beach where you can enjoy the pristine sands and beautiful scenery.
