If you are driving from Alice Springs, take the Stuart Highway (National Route 87) heading south. Continue for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Hartley Street, then turn left. Follow Hartley Street for about 2 kilometers until you reach the junction with Mount Gillen Road. Turn right onto Mount Gillen Road, and you will see the access point to Mount Gillen on your left after about 1 kilometer. There is no entry fee for accessing Mount Gillen.
