Car
From Alice Springs, head west on Larapinta Drive. Continue for about 18 kilometers until you reach the T-junction at the end of the road. Turn left onto the Namatjira Drive and continue for approximately 7 kilometers. Simpsons Gap will be on your left. Look for the sign indicating the entrance.
Public Transportation
Take the 'Red Centre' bus service from Alice Springs. The bus departs from the Alice Springs central bus station. Ensure to check the timetable as the service may not run frequently. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at Simpsons Gap, and they will let you know when you arrive. Once you get off, follow the marked walking path to the gap, which is a short distance from the bus stop.
Car
If you are coming from Kings Canyon or Uluru, take the Lasseter Highway towards Alice Springs. At the junction with the Stuart Highway, turn right and head north. After about 90 kilometers, take the left exit onto the Namatjira Drive. Follow this road for about 20 kilometers, and you will see Simpsons Gap on your left.
