If you're traveling by car, start from Alice Springs, the nearest major town in the Red Centre. Head south on the Stuart Highway (National Route 87) for about 5 kilometers. Look for the signs directing you to The Gap. Turn left onto The Gap Road, and continue for approximately 2 kilometers. You will arrive at Stuart Rotary Park, located on your right. There is free parking available at the park.
Public Transportation
For those using public transport, you can catch a bus from Alice Springs to The Gap. Buses typically depart from the Alice Springs Transit Centre. Make sure to check the schedule as service may be limited, especially on weekends. Once you arrive at The Gap, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Stuart Rotary Park. Head east on The Gap Road, and you will see the park on your left-hand side.
Walking
If you find yourself in the vicinity of The Gap, walking is a great option. Make your way to The Gap Road and head east. The park is located only a short distance away (approximately 1.5 kilometers) and is easily accessible on foot. Enjoy the scenery along the way!
