Car
If you're driving from Bowral, head south on Bong Bong Street, which turns into the Illawarra Highway (A48). Continue on the A48 for about 15 kilometers until you reach the town of Fitzroy Falls. As you enter the town, follow the signs to Fitzroy Falls, which will take you directly to the visitor center and parking area.
Public Transportation
To reach Fitzroy Falls using public transport, start at Bowral Railway Station. Take a train towards Sydney and get off at the nearest station (Moss Vale). From Moss Vale, you can catch a bus (Route 828) to Fitzroy Falls. Make sure to check the bus timetable ahead of time, as services may be limited. Once you arrive in Fitzroy Falls, follow the signs to the visitor area.
Car
If you're coming from Mittagong, take the Old Hume Highway (B73) heading south. After about 10 kilometers, turn left onto the Illawarra Highway (A48) and continue for roughly 6 kilometers until you reach Fitzroy Falls. Look for the signs directing you to Fitzroy Falls, and follow them to the visitor center.
Public Transportation
From Mittagong, you can take a bus (Route 828) directly to Fitzroy Falls. Make sure to check the schedule in advance, as the bus may not run frequently. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the visitor center, where you can start exploring the falls.
