Car
If you are driving from Bowral, head south on the Hume Highway (M31) for 4.5 km. Take the exit toward Mittagong (Berrima Rd) and follow the signs for Mittagong. Continue on Berrima Rd, then turn right onto Oxley Dr. After about 1.5 km, you will reach Jellore Lookout, which is located on your right. There is parking available at the lookout.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transport, take a train from Sydney to Mittagong Station on the Southern Highlands Line. Upon arrival, exit the station and head to the bus stop located outside. Board the local bus service (check the local timetable for the specific route to Mittagong) that goes towards Oxley Dr. Disembark at the nearest stop, and from there, it is a short walk (about 1 km) to Jellore Lookout. Ensure you check the bus schedule as services may be limited.
Walking from Mittagong
For those staying in Mittagong, you can walk to Jellore Lookout. Start at Mittagong's main street (Main St) and walk along Berrima Rd towards Oxley Dr. Turn right onto Oxley Dr and continue walking for about 1.5 km. The lookout will be on your right. This route involves walking on the side of the road, so be cautious of traffic.
