To reach Mount Gibraltar via public transport, take a train from Sydney to Bowral Station. Trains run regularly, and the journey takes about 90 minutes. Once you arrive at Bowral Station, you can catch a local bus (Route 834) towards Mittagong, which stops near Mount Gibraltar. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary throughout the day.

If you prefer to walk from Bowral Station, it is approximately a 30-minute walk to Mount Gibraltar. Exit the station and head south on Station St, turn right onto Bendooley St, then left onto Oxley Dr. Follow the road until you reach the parking area for Mount Gibraltar. Be prepared for a slight incline as you approach the lookout.
