If you're driving from Bowral, head south on the Hume Highway (M31) for approximately 15 kilometers. Take the exit toward Robertson (B73), and continue on the Illawarra Highway. The Big Potato will be on your left at Illawarra Hwy, Robertson NSW 2577. Look for the large potato structure as you approach.
Car
From Mittagong, take the Hume Highway (M31) south. After about 20 kilometers, take the exit toward Robertson (B73). Continue on Illawarra Highway for about 6 kilometers, and The Big Potato will be on your left-hand side at Illawarra Hwy, Robertson NSW 2577.
Public Transport
To reach The Big Potato via public transport, catch a train from Sydney to Mittagong Station. From Mittagong, take a local bus service (check the local bus timetable for routes and timings) that heads towards Robertson. Disembark at the nearest stop to Illawarra Highway, and walk approximately 1 kilometer to The Big Potato located at Illawarra Hwy, Robertson NSW 2577.
Public Transport
Alternatively, you can take a bus from Sydney to Bowral. From Bowral, transfer to a local bus service that heads to Robertson. Make sure to check the local bus schedules as they can vary. The Big Potato is about a 1.5 kilometers walk from the bus stop on Illawarra Highway.
