If you are traveling by car, start from Cairns, which is approximately 70 km from Crawford's Lookout. Take the Bruce Highway (A1) south towards Gordonvale. After about 15 km, follow the signs to the Palmerston Highway (B111). Continue on the Palmerston Highway for approximately 50 km until you reach Crawford's Lookout, located near the Wooroonooran National Park. Watch for a small parking area on the left side of the highway as you approach the lookout.

To reach Crawford's Lookout via public transportation, take a bus from Cairns to Innisfail. From the Cairns Central Bus Station, you can catch a bus operated by Greyhound or another local service. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Innisfail, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Crawford's Lookout, which is approximately 30 km away. Be sure to check the taxi availability in advance as it may not always be readily available.
