From the city of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory, take the Stuart Highway (A87) heading south. After approximately 36 kilometers, turn left onto the Lasseter Highway (A87). Continue on Lasseter Highway for about 90 kilometers until you reach the junction with the sealed road to Chambers Pillar. Follow the signs to Chambers Pillar, which is approximately 50 kilometers off the highway on a dirt road. Note that a 4WD vehicle is recommended for this section due to the road conditions. Please ensure you have enough fuel as there are limited services along this route.
