Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Sunshine Coast. Take the Sunshine Motorway (M1) heading north. Follow the M1 for about 30 kilometers. Take the exit toward Steve Irwin Way and continue for approximately 10 kilometers. Turn right onto Fullertons Road, and continue for a short distance. You will find the Mount Ngungun car park on your left. There is no entry fee for parking.

Public Transportation
To reach Mount Ngungun via public transport, take a bus from the Sunshine Coast. You can catch a bus from Maroochydore or Noosa to the Glass House Mountains Station. The bus service is operated by TransLink. Once you arrive at Glass House Mountains Station, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to Fullertons Road, which is about 5 kilometers away. The taxi fare will vary but expect to pay around $10-15 AUD.

Walking
If you are in the nearby area and prefer to walk, the trailhead is accessible from the car park. From the parking area, follow the clearly marked trail that leads to the summit of Mount Ngungun. The hike is approximately 2.8 kilometers return and should take around 1-2 hours depending on your fitness level.
