Car
If you are driving from the center of Maroochydore, head west on Beach Road toward the Sunshine Motorway. After approximately 1.5 km, turn left onto the Sunshine Motorway. Continue for about 3 km until you reach the Mooloolaba exit. Take this exit and follow the signs for Mooloolaba. As you approach Mooloolaba, follow the signs for the Esplanade and then for the Marina. You will find parking available near the Marina, which is close to Chambers Island. Parking may incur a fee of around AUD 2-5 per hour.
Public Transportation
To reach Chambers Island via public transport, start by taking a bus from the Maroochydore Bus Station. You can catch the '15' or '620' bus heading towards Mooloolaba. After about 20 minutes, get off at the Mooloolaba Esplanade stop. From there, walk towards the Marina, where you can rent a kayak or take a water taxi to Chambers Island. Kayak rentals can cost around AUD 25 per hour. If you prefer the water taxi, expect to pay approximately AUD 15 each way.
