If you are driving, start by heading south on the M1 Pacific Motorway. Continue on the M1 for about 30 km until you see the signs for the Royal National Park. Take the exit towards Audley and follow the signs to the park entrance. Once inside the Royal National Park, continue on Sir Bertram Stevens Drive. After approximately 10 km, you will see a sign for Bonnie Vale. Turn left onto Bonnie Vale Road and follow it until you reach the Cabbage Tree Basin. There is parking available at the site, and please note that a parking fee may apply.

To reach Cabbage Tree Basin via public transport, take a train from Sydney Central Station to Cronulla Station. This journey takes approximately 50 minutes. From Cronulla, you can catch the 991 bus towards Bundeena. The bus will take you to the entrance of the Royal National Park.
