Car
If you are driving from Sydney, take the Warringah Freeway (A38) towards North Sydney. Continue on the A38 until you reach the Manly Scenic Drive exit. Follow the Manly Scenic Drive through the beautiful coastal views until you arrive in Manly. Once in Manly, follow the signs to Cabbage Tree Bay. You can park at the Manly Wharf parking area (note that parking fees apply, typically around AUD 6-8 per hour). From the parking area, it is a short walk to Cabbage Tree Bay.
Public Transport - Ferry
From Circular Quay in Sydney, take a ferry to Manly. The ferry ride takes approximately 30 minutes and offers stunning views of the Sydney Harbour. Once you arrive at Manly Wharf, you can either walk or catch a bus to Cabbage Tree Bay. The walk takes around 15 minutes along the beach promenade, or you can take Bus 157 or 142 from the ferry terminal to get closer to the bay.
Public Transport - Bus
If you prefer to travel by bus, you can catch a bus from the Sydney CBD to Manly. Buses 135, 136, or 139 run frequently from various stops in the city to Manly. After arriving at Manly, follow the same directions as above to reach Cabbage Tree Bay. Be aware that you may need an Opal card for public transport, which can be purchased at train stations or convenience stores.
