Car
If you are driving, head south from Sydney's central business district. Take the M1 motorway (the Princes Motorway) and follow signs for Wollongong. Take the exit toward Kingsway (A1) and continue on Kingsway. Follow the signs for Cronulla and merge onto The Kingsway. After approximately 20 km, turn left onto Ewos Parade. Oak Park Beach will be on your right at 156-164 Ewos Parade, Cronulla. Note that parking may incur costs, particularly on weekends and public holidays.
Public Transportation - Train
Start by making your way to any train station in Sydney. Take a train on the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line towards Cronulla. The train ride will take approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Cronulla Station, exit the station and walk towards the beach, heading south on Cronulla Street. After approximately 10 minutes, you'll reach the beach area. To go to Oak Park Beach specifically, continue walking along the beach promenade and turn right onto Ewos Parade.
Public Transportation - Bus
From the Sydney CBD, you can catch a bus from Central Station to Cronulla. Look for bus routes 987, 991, or 994 which operate frequently. The bus journey can take about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Disembark at the Cronulla stop and walk towards the beach, heading south on Cronulla Street. After about a 10-minute walk, you will reach Oak Park Beach. Make sure to check the bus schedule as the frequency may vary.
