Car
From Sydney CBD, head north on the M1 Pacific Motorway. Continue for about 20 km and take the exit towards Warringah Road. Follow Warringah Road until it merges into Forest Way, then continue to follow signs for Pittwater Road. After approximately 10 km, you will arrive at Pittwater, which is well-signposted. Be aware that parking may incur fees depending on the specific area you choose to visit.
Public Transportation
Start your journey at Circular Quay Station in the Sydney CBD. Take a Train to Wynyard Station, then transfer to a Bus (Route 155 or 169) towards Mona Vale. The bus will take you directly to the Pittwater area. The total journey time is around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Note that you will need an Opal card for public transport, which can be purchased at train stations and convenience stores.

If you're looking for a scenic route, drive to Palm Beach. From Sydney CBD, follow the M1 Pacific Motorway, take the Barrenjoey Road exit, and follow it for about 30 minutes to Palm Beach. Once there, you can take a ferry from Palm Beach to the other parts of Pittwater. The ferry ride is approximately 20 minutes long. Ensure you check the ferry schedule in advance, as they may vary throughout the day, and there will be a fare for the ferry.
