Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Hobart, take the Tasman Highway (A3) towards Launceston. After approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes, take the exit onto the Murchison Highway (A10) towards Cradle Mountain. Follow the A10 for about 1 hour until you reach the turnoff for Cradle Mountain Road (C132). Continue on Cradle Mountain Road for about 20 minutes until you arrive at Devils@Cradle, located at 3950 Cradle Mountain Rd, Cradle Mountain TAS 7306. Note that parking is available on-site.

  • Public Transportation

    From Hobart, take the Metro Tasmania bus service to Launceston. This journey takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. Once in Launceston, you’ll need to transfer to a shuttle service or bus that goes to Cradle Mountain. The Cradle Mountain shuttle service operates from Launceston and will take you directly to the park entrance near Devils@Cradle. Be sure to check the shuttle schedules in advance, as they may vary. The total cost for the bus and shuttle may range from AUD 50 to AUD 70.

  • Taxi or Rideshare

    If you prefer a more direct option, consider taking a taxi or rideshare service from either Hobart or Launceston directly to Devils@Cradle. This option is more expensive, with estimated fares from Hobart around AUD 200 to AUD 250 and from Launceston approximately AUD 150 to AUD 200, depending on traffic and time of day.
