    If you're traveling by car, head to Eaglehawk Neck from anywhere in the Tasmanian Wilderness area. Use the A9 highway, also known as the Arthur Highway, and follow the signs towards Port Arthur. Once you arrive in Eaglehawk Neck, turn onto Pirates Bay Drive. The Tessellated Pavement is located at 380 Pirates Bay Dr, Eaglehawk Neck TAS 7179. There is limited parking available near the site. Please note that there may be a small fee for parking, depending on the time of year.

    Public Transportation

    For those relying on public transport, you can take a bus from Hobart to Port Arthur. The bus service is operated by Tassielink and runs daily, but check the schedule ahead of time for exact departure times. Once you reach Port Arthur, you can either take a taxi or rideshare service to Eaglehawk Neck. The Tessellated Pavement is approximately a 15-minute drive from Port Arthur. Be sure to confirm the fare with your taxi driver before starting your journey.

    Walking from Eaglehawk Neck

    If you're staying in Eaglehawk Neck and prefer to walk, the Tessellated Pavement is about a 20-minute walk from the center of town. Head southeast on Pirates Bay Drive, and you will find the site on your left. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the path may be uneven and watch for traffic along the road.
