Start by heading northeast on Grampians Road, then turn right onto Northern Grampians Road. Continue straight for about 5 kilometers until you reach the car park for the Grand Canyon. There are no entry fees for the park, but be sure to check for parking availability.
Public Transportation + Walking
To reach the Grand Canyon using public transportation, take a bus from Stawell or Horsham to Halls Gap, which are the nearest towns with bus services. Once you arrive in Halls Gap, you will need to walk approximately 3 kilometers to the Grand Canyon. Head northeast on Grampians Road, turn right onto Northern Grampians Road, and continue until you see signs for the Grand Canyon. The walk will take around 30-40 minutes, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
Taxi or Rideshare
For a more direct route without the need for a car, consider using a taxi or rideshare service from your location in The Grampians to the Grand Canyon. This option is especially convenient if you are staying in Halls Gap or nearby. The fare will vary depending on distance and time of day, but expect to pay around AUD 20-40 for a ride from Halls Gap.
