Getting There

• Car

  From The Twelve Apostles Visitor Centre, head east on Great Ocean Road (B100) for approximately 10 km. You will pass scenic views of the coastline, so keep your camera ready! As you approach Port Campbell, look for signs indicating the turnoff to Island Archway. Turn left onto the access road leading to the parking area for Island Archway. There is no direct cost for this drive unless you stop at paid attractions along the way.

• Public Transportation

  From The Twelve Apostles Visitor Centre, take the public bus service that operates along the Great Ocean Road. You will need to catch a bus heading towards Port Campbell. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Port Campbell, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 km to reach Island Archway. Follow the signs towards the coast; you will walk along the coastal path which offers stunning views. Note that bus services may have limited schedules, so check timetables in advance.

• Walking

  If you are already at The Twelve Apostles, consider walking to Island Archway if you are feeling adventurous. The walk is about 5 km along the coastal track and takes around 1.5 to 2 hours. Follow the marked walking trails leading towards Port Campbell, which will guide you directly to Island Archway. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and carry water, as the journey can be strenuous.
