Getting There

• Car

  From The Twelve Apostles, head east on the Great Ocean Road (B100). Continue for about 10 kilometers until you reach the Loch Ard Gorge turnoff, which is well-marked with signs. Turn left onto the Loch Ard Gorge Road. Follow this road for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the car park for Loch Ard Gorge. Parking is available, and there is no fee to park.

• Public Transportation

  If you're using public transportation, you can take a bus from Port Campbell to Loch Ard Gorge. The bus service operates on a limited schedule, so check the timetable in advance. The bus will drop you off at the Loch Ard Gorge car park. Please note that you may need to plan your trip around the bus schedule, as services may not run frequently. There is a small fare for the bus, typically around AUD 5-10, depending on the service.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk from The Twelve Apostles to Loch Ard Gorge, it's a scenic hike of about 4 kilometers along the Great Ocean Walk. Follow the marked trail that starts from the Twelve Apostles Visitor Centre. The path is well-maintained but be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water. This walk may take around 1-1.5 hours depending on your pace.
