If you are driving from Darwin, head south on Stuart Highway (National Route 1) and continue for approximately 1,500 kilometers. Once you reach the town of Katherine, take the Victoria Highway towards the east until you reach the town of Timber Creek. From Timber Creek, continue on the Victoria Highway until you reach the border of Western Australia. After crossing the border, continue on the highway until you reach the city of Kununurra. From Kununurra, take the Great Northern Highway (National Route 1) south for about 1,200 kilometers until you reach Perth. From Perth, take the Great Eastern Highway (National Route 94) east for approximately 2,600 kilometers until you reach Bathurst, New South Wales. Once in Bathurst, follow local signs or GPS navigation to reach Abercrombie House located at 311 Ophir Rd.
