Car
From Darwin, head south on the Stuart Highway (National Route 1) for approximately 160 kilometers. Turn right onto the Arnhem Highway (National Route 36) towards Jabiru. Continue on Arnhem Highway for about 90 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Mary River Floodplain. Follow the signs for Bamurru Plains, which is located approximately 20 kilometers down the access road. Please note that the access road may be unsealed, so a 4WD vehicle is recommended. There are no tolls on this route.
