If you're driving from Darwin, head south on the Stuart Highway (National Route 1) for approximately 330 kilometers until you reach the town of Katherine. From Katherine, take the Victoria Highway (National Route 1) heading west for about 110 kilometers. Merge onto the Buntine Highway and follow it for around 200 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Purnululu National Park. Note that a 4WD vehicle is recommended for the final section of the journey into the park, as the roads can be unsealed and rough. There is an entry fee for the park, which is approximately AUD 13 per vehicle.
