Car
If you are driving from the Top End region, you will first need to get onto the Stuart Highway (National Highway 1). Follow the highway south until you reach the intersection with the Victoria Highway. Continue on the Victoria Highway which will eventually lead you into the northern suburbs of Melbourne. From there, take the M1 (Monash Freeway) towards the city center. Once you reach Southbank, look for the Riverside Quay exit. Follow Riverside Quay until you reach 7 Riverside Quay, where Melbourne Skydeck is located. Be aware of parking fees in the area, which can vary depending on the time of day.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus or train from your location in the Top End to Darwin. From Darwin, you can catch a flight to Melbourne Tullamarine Airport. Once you arrive at the airport, take the SkyBus service to Southern Cross Station in Melbourne's city center. From Southern Cross Station, you can either walk to Melbourne Skydeck (about a 20-minute walk) or take a tram on the Route 96 or 109 towards St Kilda and get off at the stop near the Southbank area. Walk from the tram stop to 7 Riverside Quay.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi or rideshare service (such as Uber) from your location in Top End to the nearest airport. From there, take a flight to Melbourne Tullamarine Airport. After arriving, you can request a rideshare or taxi to take you directly to Melbourne Skydeck at 7 Riverside Quay. This option is more convenient but generally more expensive than public transport.
