Car
If you are driving from Darwin, take the Stuart Highway (National Route 1) south. Follow the signs for Kakadu National Park. Once you reach the park entrance, you will need to pay a park entry fee of approximately AUD 40 per vehicle for a 24-hour pass. Continue along the Kakadu Highway until you reach the turn-off for Jim Jim Falls Road. Motor Car Falls is located off this road. Follow Jim Jim Falls Road, which can be unsealed and may require a 4WD vehicle. After about 15 kilometers, you will find the parking area for Motor Car Falls. From here, it’s a short hike to the falls.
