After approximately 120 kilometers, take the exit for the Arnhem Highway (National Route 36) towards Jabiru. Continue on the Arnhem Highway for about 40 kilometers until you reach the turn-off for the Red Centre Way (State Route 5). Follow the Red Centre Way for about 80 kilometers, and then take the turn-off to Finke Gorge National Park. Follow the signs for Palm Valley. The journey from Darwin takes approximately 4-5 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. Ensure you have a reliable map or GPS, as some areas may have limited mobile reception.
