To reach Echidna Chasm, start your journey from the nearest major city, which is Kununurra. From Kununurra, head south on the Victoria Highway towards Halls Creek. After approximately 195 kilometers, turn onto the Purnululu National Park road. This road is unsealed and may require a 4WD vehicle, so be prepared for rough terrain. Continue on this road for about 53 kilometers until you reach the park entrance. There is an entry fee for Purnululu National Park, which is approximately AUD 13 per vehicle. Once you enter the park, follow the signs for Echidna Chasm, which is a short drive of about 20 kilometers from the entrance. The last part of the journey involves a short walk from the parking area to the chasm itself.
