Getting there

Bus

From Bregenz, head to the Bregenz bus station (Busbahnhof), which is located near the train station. Take Bus line 120 towards Meersburg. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the 'Meersburg, Stadt' stop. From there, you can walk to Neues Schloss, which is about a 15-minute walk. Head towards the lake, then follow the signs to the castle located at Schloßpl. 12.

Ferry

You can also take a ferry from Bregenz to Meersburg. Head to the Bregenz harbor (Bodensee Hafen Bregenz), which is a short walk from the city center. Check the ferry schedule and board a ferry heading to Meersburg. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Meersburg, follow the signs to Neues Schloss, which is a short walk uphill (approximately 10 minutes) from the ferry landing.

Train

Take a train from Bregenz to the nearest train station in Meersburg. First, head to the Bregenz train station (Bahnhof Bregenz). Board the train heading towards Überlingen. After arriving at the Überlingen station, transfer to Bus line 739, which will take you directly to Meersburg. Once you arrive at Meersburg, walk approximately 10-15 minutes to reach Neues Schloss at Schloßpl. 12.
