If you're driving from Arlberg, start by heading south on the B197 towards Landeck. Continue on this road for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with the A12 Autobahn. Merge onto the A12 heading west. After approximately 45 kilometers, take the exit for the A95 towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Follow the A95 for about 30 kilometers, and then take the exit towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Continue on the B2 into the town. Look for signs directing you to Partnach Gorge, which is located just outside of the town center. There is a parking area near the entrance to the gorge, which may have a fee (typically around €5 for a day).

To reach Partnach Gorge using public transportation, start by taking a train from the nearest train station in Arlberg (Zams or Landeck) to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. You may need to change trains in Innsbruck, so check the schedules on the ÖBB website or app. Once you arrive at the Garmisch-Partenkirchen train station, you can take bus line 1 (direction: Partenkirchen) from the bus station just outside the train station. This bus will take you to the Partnach Gorge entrance. The bus ride takes about 15 minutes. Be sure to have some change ready, as the bus fare may cost around €2-3. After getting off, follow the signs to the gorge entrance.
