From any location in Austria, take a train to Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station). From there, you can walk to Mirabell Palace in about 15-20 minutes. Exit the train station and head southeast on Rainerstraße, then turn left onto Schwarzstraße. Continue straight until you reach Mirabell Gardens, where you will find the palace.
