From the center of Bad Gastein, head towards the Bad Gastein Waterfall. Walk along the main street, and take in the beautiful views of the waterfall. Continue along the path that leads towards the hiking trails. Follow signs for Grauleitenspitz, which will lead you up through the woods and trails. The hike is moderately steep, so be prepared for a bit of an ascent. After approximately 1.5 to 2 hours of hiking, you should reach the scenic viewpoint at Grauleitenspitz.

Take the local bus from the Bad Gastein bus station. Look for the bus that heads towards Böckstein. Get off at the 'Böckstein' stop, and from there, follow the hiking trail signs for Grauleitenspitz.
