Walking
Start from the Bad Gastein train station. Exit the station and head towards the main road, Bismarckstraße. Turn right on Bismarckstraße and walk straight for about 500 meters. You will pass several hotels and shops. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with the waterfall on your left. Wasserfallweg is located at Bismarckstraße 9, right next to the waterfall. Look for the signs indicating the hiking trails.
Public Transport (Bus)
From the center of Bad Gastein, head to the nearest bus stop, which is 'Bad Gastein Bahnhof' (Train Station). Take bus line 550 towards 'Schwarzach-St. Veit' or 'Bad Hofgastein'. Get off at the stop 'Bad Gastein Wasserfall'. From the bus stop, head back down the road for a few minutes until you see the entrance to Wasserfallweg located at Bismarckstraße 9, right next to the waterfall.
Walking from the Center
If you are starting from the main square in Bad Gastein, head towards Bismarckstraße. Walk north, passing the historic buildings and beautiful views. Continue walking straight for approximately 800 meters. You will eventually reach a viewpoint overlooking the waterfall. Wasserfallweg is directly accessible from this viewpoint at Bismarckstraße 9. Follow the signs for the hiking trails leading from there.
