Public Transport
Start at the Bad Gastein train station. From the station, take the bus line 552 towards 'Graukogel'. The bus stop is just outside the train station. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes until you reach the 'Graukogel' stop. Once you get off the bus, you will see signs directing you to the Zirbenweg trailhead. Follow the marked paths for approximately 20-30 minutes to reach Zirbenweg, which is a scenic hiking area offering stunning views and rest spots.

Walking
If you prefer to walk, start in the center of Bad Gastein. Head towards the 'Felsentherme' spa and take the path leading uphill towards the 'Graukogel' area. The walk is uphill and will take about 1 hour, depending on your pace. Follow the signs along the trail leading to Zirbenweg. The path is well-marked, and you will enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding mountains as you walk.

Cable Car
From Bad Gastein, you can also take the 'Graukogel' cable car to reach a higher elevation. The cable car station is located near the center of Bad Gastein. Once you reach the top, follow the signs for Zirbenweg. The hiking trail starts near the cable car exit and offers easy access to the scenic areas of Zirbenweg. The cable car ride itself provides stunning views and is a popular option for tourists.
