Walking
From the center of Bad Gastein, walk towards the bus station (Bad Gastein Bahnhof). This is your starting point. Head south on Kaiser-Franz-Josef-Straße until you reach the intersection with Kaiser-Wilhelm-Promenade. Turn right onto Kaiser-Wilhelm-Promenade and continue straight. You will pass by several shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards Kötschachbach Rocky Beach. Follow the signs until you reach the entrance of the park area leading to Kötschachbach Rocky Beach. The beach is located at Kaiser Friedrich-Weg 1, right next to the stream.

From the Bad Gastein bus station, take bus line 550 towards Mallnitz. Get off at the 'Kötschachbach' stop. Once you exit the bus, walk back a short distance towards the direction of the bus you just came from. You will find a trail leading towards Kötschachbach Rocky Beach. Follow the trail which leads you directly to the beach area. It is a scenic path, so take your time to enjoy the surroundings.
