Walking
If you are starting from the Bad Gastein train station, exit the station and head towards the main road (B167). Turn left and walk along the road for approximately 500 meters. You will pass various shops and cafes. Look for signs pointing to 'Wasserfallweg' or 'Hiking Trails' as you continue straight. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will reach Bismarckstraße. Turn right onto Bismarckstraße and continue walking for about 200 meters until you reach the entrance to Wasserfallweg, which will be on your left.

From the center of Bad Gastein, locate the main square, which is close to the Bad Gastein Waterfall. From the square, head towards the waterfall area, following the signs for 'Wasserfallweg'. Once you reach the waterfall viewing area, take the path that leads up alongside the waterfall. You will see the entrance to Wasserfallweg shortly after, following the trail that hugs the cascading waters.
