From the center of Bregenz, head to the Bregenz Hauptbahnhof (main train station). You can easily walk there from places like the Vorarlberghalle or the Kunsthaus. Once at the station, look for the bus stop for line 1, which goes toward Eriskircher Ried. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the 'Eriskircher Ried' stop. From there, it is a short walk to the entrance of the nature preserve.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Bregenz, near the lakefront. Head east along the waterfront promenade towards the marina. Continue along the path until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Eriskircher Ried. Follow the signs toward Eriskircher Ried, which will take you through scenic areas. The total walking distance is approximately 4 km, and it should take about an hour.
