If you're traveling by car, head towards the village of Fontanella in the Bregenzerwald region. From the center of Bregenzerwald, take the B200 road towards the west. Continue on the B200 until you reach the turnoff for Fontanella. Follow the signs to Faschina, and then follow the road until you reach the parking area near Stafelalpsee. Note that parking may be limited, so it’s advisable to arrive early in the day.

To reach Stafelalpsee using public transportation, take a bus from the nearest major town in Bregenzerwald, such as Bezau or Schoppernau. Check the local bus schedules for routes heading towards Fontanella. Once you arrive at the bus stop in Fontanella, you will still need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to reach Stafelalpsee. Follow the pedestrian paths leading towards the lake, enjoying the scenic views along the way.
