Bus
From Dornbirn city center, head to the Dornbirn Hauptbahnhof (main train station). There, you can catch Bus 3 towards Friedrichshafen. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Friedrichshafen stop, walk towards Uferstraße, which is a short 5-minute walk away. Follow the signs towards the lake and you will see the Uferpromenade.
Train
Make your way to Dornbirn Hauptbahnhof (main train station) and purchase a ticket to Friedrichshafen. Trains run frequently, and the journey lasts about 20-25 minutes. Once you arrive at Friedrichshafen train station, exit the station and head towards the lake. Walk straight along the path for about 10 minutes, and you will arrive at the Uferpromenade.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Dornbirn. From the city center, head towards the B190 road, following the signs to Friedrichshafen. The cycling route is approximately 12 km and will take around 40-50 minutes. Upon entering Friedrichshafen, follow the signs leading to the lake, and you will find the Uferpromenade along the waterfront.
Walking
For those who enjoy a long walk, you can start from the Dornbirn city center and walk towards Friedrichshafen. The distance is about 12 km, and it will take around 2.5 to 3 hours. Follow the scenic paths along the B190 and the lake shoreline. This route will lead you directly to the Uferpromenade.
