Public Transport - Bus
From Eisenstadt city center, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is the 'Eisenstadt, Bahnhof' stop. Catch the bus number 171 towards 'Vienna, Stadion'. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at 'Vienna, Stadion', transfer to the tram line 2. Board the tram heading towards 'Karlsplatz'. After about 10 stops, get off at 'Schottentor'. From there, you can walk towards Brigittenauer Lände, which is about a 15-minute walk northeast.
Public Transport - Train
Head to the Eisenstadt train station, which is about a 10-minute walk from the city center. Take the train towards 'Vienna Hauptbahnhof'. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Vienna Hauptbahnhof, follow the signs to the U-Bahn (subway) and take the U1 line towards 'Stephansplatz'. Change at 'Stephansplatz' to the U2 line towards 'Karlsplatz'. Get off at 'Karlsplatz' and walk approximately 20 minutes northeast to reach Brigittenauer Lände.
Walking
If you prefer walking, start from the center of Eisenstadt. Head northeast on Hauptstraße until you reach the train station. From there, follow the signs to the bike path that leads towards Vienna. The route is about 30 kilometers, and it should take approximately 6 hours of walking. It’s a scenic route, but ensure you have comfortable shoes and plenty of water.
