From the city center of Eisenstadt, head towards the Eisenstadt train station (Bahnhof Eisenstadt). Once you reach the station, take the train towards Wien (Vienna). The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Wien Hauptbahnhof (Vienna Central Station), exit the train and follow the signs to the U-Bahn (subway). Take the U1 line in the direction of Stephansplatz. After two stops, get off at the Karntnertor Theatre station. Exit the station and walk towards the Opernring. Continue straight until you reach Goethegasse. The Staatsopernmuseum is located at Goethegasse 1, just a short walk from the subway station.
